Fri 20 Nov
|Longford Library
Stories need to be told. And remembered. This is a workshop aimed at those interested in exploring memoir as an act of remembrance and memory: yours, your family’s. Your story.
Time & Location
20 Nov 2026, 13:00 – 16:00 GMT
Longford Library, Townparks, Longford, Ireland
About the event
We tell stories. Such define who we are, the world we have understood. And too often stories
of ourselves, of those who came before, of the worlds witnessed and the stories we want to
pass on are at risk at being lost.
What does memoir mean, and how can you explore it? The workshop will explore meanings,
how such stories can be told, what to think about if you want to write a memoir—either yours
